To wrap up Student Council this year, please participate in our "Poster Challenge" in order to promote Student Council for next year. See Mrs. Smith in Room 203 for poster board. All directions are below:
We have enjoyed a wonderful year with all of you! Best of luck to our 8th graders, and we hope our 6th and 7th graders join next year! Mrs. Horrigan & Ms. Smith
The Student Council is a student organization focused on promoting school spirit, providing school activities, and giving support for clubs and other organizations at school. The Student Council's aim is to assist students and teachers in making school more meaningful by:
- Providing social activities, student special events, and promoting school spirit.
- Working to facilitate better relationships between students and staff, with other schools, and within the community.
Membership: Along with signing up for student council, students need to obtain a faculty recommendation which will include from the student answers to various questions stating their ideas for student council this year. Students are required to complete and submit an application. All applications are due by Wednesday Oct. 3rd.
Student Council members will be listed on this webpage by Friday October 5th.
Our first meeting will be held after school in Room 203 Thursday Oct. 11th until 4:20 (Activity buses will be available)
We are looking forward to an excellent group of students in Student Council this year!
