Tools for Schools Permission Slips Due May 21

Countryside School is collecting used school supplies for Tools for Schools. Tools for Schools provides a place where individuals and businesses can donate new and used school supplies and/or office supplies. Schools and organizations supporting disadvantaged children choose needed items. Children get school supplies, teachers get equipment for their classrooms, and many items are diverted from the landfill.

As students clean out their desks, they can donate their used markers, highlighters, clipboards, scissors, crayons, and/or unused notebook paper. If you would like your children to participate in this program, please discuss it with them, and then fill out the permission form. Return the form to school by Monday, May 21. Labeled boxes will be placed in each pod for collection of the items during the last few days of school.

Thank you for supporting an effort toreduce waste and help students and teachers in need.

Countryside Cares 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run Results

It was a beautiful day on Saturday, May 19, when many families came out to participate in this great event to benefit Walk On Farm. Countryside raised over $1700 for this charity while enjoying fun activities put on by the Countryside Cares Student Committee. A huge thank you to Mr. Kolitsas and Kara Wheaton for helping plan the event. Mr. Domanico kept things festive with great music. Mary Ann Wesoloski was on hand manning the first aid station. Much appreciation to Custodian Mauricio Mata who helped make it all happen that day. And we could not have done it without all the wonderful volunteers- Mrs. Blatchley, Mrs.Dunn, Lara Berry, Lori Madison, Jenn Adams, Purnima Bhogaraju, Liz Kinsella, Jamie Brashler, Harold Henry, Brad Madison and a special thanks to Diane Hartshorn and the incredible student volunteers.
